On April 18th, a rather gloomy Good Friday, eight enthusiastic members of our Society embarked on an exhilarating journey to the second of these meetings.
On April 3rd, before this event, we had the pleasure of an inspiring presentation by renowned sports photographer Steve Bailey. Our mission was clear: refining our skills in capturing the dynamic essence of movement, a key theme for our upcoming competition round.
Although the overcast skies threatened rain, we were fortunate that the weather held out; however, a little moisture would have helped settle the dust and improve the experience!
The action on the track was swift and fierce, ensuring our cameras were put to the test. Not only did members gather hundreds of pictures to edit, but we also needed to clean our cameras and lenses thoroughly!
