Recently, two of the Society’s members decided to check out a relatively new area of architectural landscaping to the Greenwich Peninsula, London.
First of all, we visited The Tide, an elevated walkway ‘linear park’ near the O2 arena in North Greenwich. After walking around that area we stopped in the Dome for coffee and lunch – and more photo opportunities.
After this, we walked to Greenwich itself, through industrial areas and then along the path by the Thames, making our way to the Cutty Sark. As it was threatening rain, we headed back to Waterloo, changing trains at Canary Wharf – and yes, more photos! Some images are included below, Gabor.
