"Architectural Photography" by Inaki Hernadez-Lasa
January 28, 2021 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Iñaki’s aim when photographing a building is to capture its ‘genius loci’ – the spirit of the place and reflect an interpretation of the architect’s vision. He has photographed some of the most renowned buildings in the world, including the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, the Walt Disney Concert Hall in L.A., the City of Arts & Sciences in Valencia, Berlin's Reichstag and the Milwaukee Art Museum. During his talk Iñaki will present different concepts of architectural photography and show images from both of his Fellowships.
Iñaki is an assessor for the Royal Photographic Society and sits on the Fine Art panel.

"He shoots, he scores" by Andrew Moss
March 25, 2021 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm
A London based photographer, Andrew enjoys making distinctive, graphic and impactful images, mainly of sport and action. In particular he loves the challenge of creating an arresting photo of fast-moving action in a technically difficult situation. He uses Photoshop only ‘in extremis’ and try to take a largely editorial approach to my processing. His iPhone is nearly as important for his non-sport photography as his DSLR in producing photographs that hopefully intrigue you.
Andrew’s talk will cover his photographic journey, research, backgrounds, using your technology, knowing your subject; all illustrated from a selection of the over fifty different sports he have shot in the last few years.
