The Annual Exhibition allows us to show to the public the best work of our members, from beginners to seasoned professionals. It is not judged competitively, and all members are encouraged to enter their work.
The Exhibition will be held at The United Free Church, Upper Basingwell Street, Bishop’s Waltham, SO32 1AL
The opening times are:
Thursday 12th October 9.30 am – 5 pm
Friday 13th October 9.30 am – 5 pm
Saturday 14th October 9.30 am – 5 pm
Sale of Prints and Cards
Visitors to the exhibition will be allowed to make a request to purchase copies of members’ prints. These requests will be passed on to the author of the print to make their own arrangements of price and production with the prospective purchaser.
There will be the opportunity for visitors to purchase cards made from members’ images a proportion of the proceeds will go to the air ambulance, which is the charity the society supports.
JUNIOR COMPETITION
A major feature of the exhibition in recent years has been a photographic competition for those 16 and under. They have produced some stunning work, and it is great to see the hobby being taken up by the next generation.
The deadline for entries this year is 8th September 2023
There are two age groups
- up to 11 years old
- 12 to 16 years old
To enter, e-mail one photo (on any subject) to competition@bishopswalthamphotosociety.co.uk The e-mail should contain your name, age, title of the image, plus contact details of a parent or guardian
