About Robert

Robert Harvey ARPS EFIAP CEnv CSci MCIWEM is an award-winning photographer based in Wiltshire who has written a number of books on photography and astronomy.

The Talk

It was based around the excellent ‘Fotovue’ photographic guide book of the same name. This was a presentation re-scheduled from earlier in the year, and not only did the audience see some stunning landscape photography, but the presentation also gave a ‘potted’ local history of the natural environment, architectural highlights such as the wonderful Salisbury Cathedral and Stonehenge but the peoples’ who lived in Wiltshire too.

In thanking Robert, Helen said, “On behalf of the committee and members at Bishops Waltham PS, thank you once again for your excellent talk. Members commented on how it was a refreshing change and much more than a talk on landscape photography. It was an education, which we all appreciated and, judging by the number of people buying your books, all the additional information and details you provided has piqued everyone’s interest in knowing more. On top of that, there are a good few of us who will be planning a few days in Wiltshire with our books in hand.”
