Poppy Wave at Fort Nelson

On Sunday 15th April nine members met at Fort Nelson – part of the Royal Armouries, to see and photograph the touring ‘poppy wave’ sculpture. The wave was part of the ‘Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red’ installation first seen at the Tower of London in 2014.
Compared to the previous day – wonderful blue skies, Sunday was a dull and overcast but at least the impending wet weather held off!
Although not an easy subject to photograph with walkways and lots of people around – the selection of images below show how each of us used our creative eye to capture different views of the same subject! Great images everyone – thanks for coming along, Dawn.
