On a dull grey day, 13 members visited Whitchurch Silk Mill.
The Mill offered plenty of photographic opportunities – the water wheel, the weaving machinery, cogs and bobbins, and lots of coloured threads. As always, it was a sociable occasion with discussion of cameras and lenses, and there was always someone willing to answer a technical question or give advice.
Outside, although the light was grey and flat, there was a lawn of blue crocuses that some members found.
And of course there was plenty of chat over tea and cake in the cafe!
