The last competition of the 2019 season had an impressive range of images. ‘Open’ competitions give complete freedom to show everything from Feline Portraits, through Landscape, Historical Re-enactment to out of focus (for effect) flowers.
Glynn Paton LRPS, pre-presentation gave a great critique but reminded us that ‘subjectivity is the enemy of judging’ – it’s hard to separate personal aesthetics.
