From May 2018 four members travelled back in time to May 1642 at Little Woodham Historical Village, Gosport. Apart from plenty of opportunities for photography, we were entertained and educated by the “villagers” and we are now experts in starting a fire with flint, herbal remedies and weaving – should the need ever arise.
The photography was challenging with very dark interiors to the dwellings needing high ISOs, but bright sunshine outdoors, but luckily the “villagers” were very happy to allow strangers from the 21st century to photograph them. We spent an enjoyable few hours before re-joining the 21st century. Some of our images are below. Mary.
